Jame Rodriguez might end up in Chelsea football club as agent holds last minute transfer talk with Real Madrid

JAMES RODRIGUEZ’s agent Jorge Mendes reportedly held talks with Real Madrid over a move for the forward late last night.

The Colombia international was linked with a move away from the Bernabeu earlier this summer after struggling to hold down a place in Zinedine Zidane’s starting XI.

However, the 25-year-old insisted he wanted to stay at Madrid and fight for his place this term.
He said in July: "I'm going to stay with Real Madrid, I'm going to triumph here.”
But he was left out of the side for Real’s first two La Liga games of the season.
And now Spanish outlet El Confidencial claim Rodriguez’s agent Jorge Mendes held discussions with Real about a move to west London for the forward last night.
The report claims that the Blues offered Cesc Fabregas as part of a deal, but Madrid were not interested in the former Barcelona man.
The La Liga club’s president Florentino Perez wants £60million for Rodriguez, who is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League.
Antonio Conte is looking to add to his squad today after only bringing Michy Batshuayi, N'Golo Kante and goalkeeper Eduardo to Chelsea this summer.jj
